GRANDE Print Art Fair and Montreal’s first annual Printed Art Festival
ARCMTL was very proud to present the first annual GRANDE Print Art Fair, a gathering of more than 50 artists and organizations from Montreal’s printmaking and poster art community. It was held on Saturday May 7, 2016 at 5445 de Gaspé, capping off Montreal’s first annual Printed Art Festival (Festival des Arts Imprimés de Montréal).

For its first edition, the Montreal Printed Art Festival (FAIMTL) was pleased to present free events and exhibits celebrating printed art over 10 days, featuring local and international artists. The city’s rich and dynamic print art scene finally has an annual showcase where the wider public can discover its impressive vitality and its well-deserved international reputation.
The theme of this first edition was “Pushing the Limits of Printed Art.”
Six different partners and locations presented events during the festival: Atelier Circulaire, ARPRIM, Zocalo, Archive Montréal / Expozine, BAnQ and the Maison de la Culture Villeray/ Saint-Michel/ Parc-Extension.
GRANDE was organized by ARCMTL and is made possible in part through the support of its sponsors, ARTEXTE and CKUT. The Montreal Printed Art Festival is a proud partner of the Bureau des festivals et des événements culturels de la Ville de Montréal.
